Overview:
Setting up Twilio 10DLC allows you to register and configure your messaging system for compliant SMS communication using 10-digit long codes. This helps ensure better message deliverability, adherence to carrier regulations, and improved trust with recipients.
Follow these steps to set up Twilio 10DLC:
Step 1: On your dashboard, click the user dropdown menu in the top-right corner.
Step 2: From the dropdown menu, click Settings.
Step 3: You will then be taken to the Settings page. Scroll down and click on Twilio 10 DLC to continue.
Step 4: You will then be redirected to the Twilio Trust Center Onboarding section.
Step 5: Select whether your business has a tax ID: Yes if it does, and No if it does not.
Step 6: Once selected, click on it, and you will be prompted to fill in all the fields. First is the Business Details section.
Step 7: Next is the Business Address section.
Step 8: Moving forward, you will see the Authorized Representative Details section.
Step 9: You will also be prompted to enter the Campaign Details and select a Campaign Use Case from the dropdown menu.
Step 10: Lastly, the End User Consent section.
Step 11: Once everything is set, click Save to apply the changes.
